🏡 Working Together to Improve the Broomwood Estate

Good Morning

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of undertaking a community walkabout of the Broomwood Estate alongside Councillor Julian Newgrosh, Lindsay King from the Trafford Community Safety Team, Andrew Hodson from the local community centre, and PC Ben Start, the Neighbourhood Beat Officer for the area.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity to spend time in the heart of the community, discuss local issues, celebrate the positive work already taking place, and identify further opportunities to enhance the area for residents. By working together and engaging directly within the neighbourhood, we were able to share ideas, explore solutions, and strengthen our collective commitment to making Broomwood an even better place to live.

The walkabout highlighted the value of strong partnership working, with all agencies united in their ambition to keep the estate safe, clean, welcoming, and thriving for everyone. Through open discussion and collaboration, we have identified a number of opportunities to build on the good work already taking place and develop plans that will deliver lasting benefits for local residents.

We would like to thank everyone involved for their continued support and commitment to the community. By working together with residents, partner agencies, and local organisations, we can continue to make positive improvements that enhance community safety, improve the local environment, and ensure Broomwood remains a place that people are proud to call home.

Thank You

Inspector Matthew Harvey - Trafford Neighbourhood Team
